The Beginning of Us

Ryan and I met at a friends house in the summer of 8th grade. We were "going out" as we called it back then for maybe a month and he quit talking to me (rude lol) and then decided he would call me one day and think I would just be OK with that, NOT. We didn't talk for a little while then he would call me every once in a while and that went on for the next, basically, 4 years.

I went to Georgia Christian School my whole school life except for 2 years. In high school you have electives and I always had teachers aid and office aid, which I loved both. Teachers aid was my favorite because I love helping with the little kids. Office aid was OK to I got to hang out with the office staff and do "grown up" things. Well my senior year I had two "real" classes and three electives. Keep in mind I played sports and you had to have 5 classes to play sports. So I was in the office for one and teachers aid for two.

I tell you all of that to tell you this. I was helping the counselor at the time with some filing and such and I looked at the name to file it alphabetically and I say Randy Ryan Hughes. I looked and again and I looked at her and said um... is this Ryan Hughes like the one I know?, like she would know that right. Ha. She said I'm not sure but he will be here any minute to meet with me and the principal.  As soon as she said that I looked out of her window and saw him and his parents walking up. I tried to escape the office before he saw me but that didn't work. I almost ran into him coming in the door. We were both kind of shocked to see each other. It had been since 9th grade people. Needless to say he started going to school with me the end of our senior year. That's when it all began again.

We were both dating other people "seriously" but that didn't mean we couldn't be friends. I ended up tearing my ACL in a basketball game (post to come) and Ryan helped me with my books and stuff.  Then we graduated. (sad day/happy day) We were both going to miss each other! But soo happy to finally be out of school!
(we had a small class)

After high school graduation we would talk every once in a while and then we both ended up breaking up with the other people. We started talking again and we "Facebook officially" started dating December 7, 2009 (my dad's birthday).

Now here we are 4 years and 2 kids later. I couldn't imagine my life with out him.
